ABOUT Training for Group Facilitation

Have you ever been asked to lead a group and wondered, How can I do this, and do it well?

If so, this training is for you!

This professional training in group facilitation provides a platform to develop, sharpen, and apply your unique facilitator style within an organizational context. It will help you learn how to present materials in a way that “fits” who you are.

In this interactive Training for Group Facilitation, Leadership Vision will share our professional best practices, lessons learned, and lead you through interactive experiences to sharpen your group facilitation skills.

During these two days, you will experience:

Why Facilitation is more than facilitation

Group facilitation is often misidentified as group training. Facilitation can take on many forms. We will broaden your understanding of the vast methods for how any curriculum can be delivered.

Curriculum Development and Delivery

An In-depth look at curriculum development, why intentional curriculum writing is important and why you still have opportunities to “do it well” even if you’re handed some pre-determined curriculum.

Group Facilitation Practice

Opportunity to practice delivering your lessons learned, facilitation strategies and new ideas.

Peer to Peer Feedback

Attendees will have an opportunity to present their best stuff, with the cohort providing learning opportunities for improvement.

Participate in two Team Engagement Sessions

Active participation in two, 90-minute “Team Engagement Sessions,” so you can experience this process as the learner.

Contextualized Application to your organization

Within your cohort, you will be able to discuss specific, contextual applications to your organization.
